One of Amman’s real hidden gems, Najla is located in the artsy old neighborhood of Jabal Alweibdeh. As soon as you set foot inside the restaurant, you are instantly surrounded by a homey vibe. When you are craving authentic homemade Jordanian food, this restaurant is the place to be. Their set menu includes mezze, a main dish which changes everyday according to the seasonal availability of produce as well as a dessert. If you like their food and you’re looking for a “cook and eat” experience be sure to check out Beit Sitti, run by the same family, but in the space above the restaurant. Najla is only open for lunch, but you can book the restaurant exclusively for dinner if you have a large group.
