In a industrial neighbourhood called Barra Funda, very close to the area now inhabited by a big part of the Korean community, this architectural little gem is run by the uncompromising young chef Paulo Shin. This son of Korean immigrants serves up only a small menu of 8 dishes, each with a wine pairing option. His mother grows all the fresh plants for his quite contemporary approach to the Korean classics. The kimchi and the bibimbap are world-renown, so don’t worry, there are versions of those here too. Intimate, hidden, inexpensive and surprisingly great quality.
