The second outlet (after gastrobar Duo) from chef Dmitry Blinov, an arrogant but gifted leader on local gastronomy scene. The name itself is a give-away; an extensive list of various tartars, ceviches and carpaccios and do make sure to try the raw mackerel with soy beans and sake, with a glass of Georgian amber wine. Apart from tartars, look out also for baby lamb’s tongues with burned potato mash or an excellent chopped beef soup with sublime smoked paprika. Tartarbar is always full, booking is essential and if that’s not enough a warning may go out that each sitting during rush hour is limited to 90 min.
